Newcomer Employment Week
Newcomer Employment Week returns to the Tri-Cities on November 18- 22.
Newcomers are invited to meet and network with employers and service providers. This year’s theme is on the Importance of Workplace Culture. Learn how workplace culture plays a key role in an organization’s recruitment process.
Start the week at Coquitlam Public Library on November 18 from 10am – 3pm with workshops, employer panels, resume clinics & speed networking with employers.
The rest of the week is dedicated for newcomers to meet employers at Workplace Tours. Jobseekers will be invited to workplaces from a variety of different sectors across the Tri-Cities to meet with employers, learn about the different roles in their organization and their recruitment process.
