Take the BC Demographic Survey to Help Improve Government Services

By BC Gov.

You can help identify systemic barriers within government programs and services that may disproportionally impact Indigenous Peoples, the Black community and other racialized groups.

Take the BC Demographic Survey and share your thoughts. The results will help inform future changes in support of making B.C. a more equitable province.

How to complete the survey
You can do the survey online or by telephone: 1 833 376-2452, toll free. It takes about 10 minutes to complete, and your feedback is anonymous. The survey is open until September 29 and is available in 15 languages.

Why take the survey
Everyone deserves to live in a province where they have equitable opportunities to thrive. But many programs and services do not consider the unique needs of Indigenous Peoples and racialized people.
The first step in addressing discriminatory gaps is to acknowledge and identify where we can do better, which is why the B.C. Government is asking for public input.

Survey results will be combined with existing information to identify gaps in services, provide a better understanding of what is working and the opportunity to change what is not.
